Building structures,
enabling people.
I'm Mariana. For over 10 years I've been helping organizations work better — designing processes, bringing order where it's needed, and building structures so teams can focus on what actually matters.

About me
What I do
Operations & Chief of Staff. I design processes, manage teams, and make sure things actually work. I like understanding how the pieces of an organization fit together.
My background
Master's in Emergency Management (yes, real crises). Sociology with a focus on Business Administration. I tend to ask "why" a lot.
Outside of work
I travel when I can, enjoy crafts and music, and I'm always curious about how people live in other places. Tea over coffee, and long conversations over small talk.
What I believe in
Justice and equity. That good processes give people security. That there's always a better way to do things.
Philosophy
I've learned that operations isn't about control — it's about making things easier for people.
The goal is to build something that works so well, nobody has to think about it.
When a process is well designed, no one notices it. That's the whole point.
I tend to show up during moments of transition — rapid growth, restructuring, changes in direction.
I'm good at finding order in the middle of chaos
and figuring out what comes next.
"The best organizational structure is one that people don't even notice, because it simply works."

Liquid Modernity — Zygmunt Bauman
A deep reflection on how social structures have become fluid and uncertain in the contemporary world.
Liquid Love — Zygmunt Bauman
On the fragility of human bonds in the modern era and how we build (and destroy) relationships.
Consuming Life — Zygmunt Bauman
A critical analysis of how consumerism transforms our identity and social relationships.
Let's connect?
I'm always up for a good conversation — whether it's about work, ideas, or something new.
